Last night we had a big storm that was expected to come through and produce tornadoes. I was scared out of my mind for a while, but everything turned out just fine-it wasn't very bad at all thank goodness! We were under a tornado warning (which means a tornado has touched down or should touch down) for about a half an hour so we hung out in the bathroom for about 45 minutes last night. Ryan thought it was funny and took some photos.

9 months
My sister wanted to see some photos of me at this point in life-nine months pregnant. I don't have many right now, but I'll put up a few I have and think about taking a couple more. Here is a shot of me on June 1-just ignore my huge arm!

These are the only photos I have of me right now-but maybe we'll get out and do something fun tomorrow and we can take some more. Even better-maybe the baby will come tomorrow and we can have better photos than just me really big!

What we are up to
Well, we have been in Wichita for about 3 weeks now. I have started my new job and we are finally all unpacked. I am in the program working on the Boeing 747-8 passenger airliner. I am pretty bored at work since I don't go through my software training until the second week in June. I also have to get about 8 accounts set up just so i can do simple tasks. I am however able to go walk around the plant and see how each little part of the airplanes are manufactured. I think I could spend all day watching people work and not get bored. Also, it took me about an hour just to make a loop around the plant. The place is huge and I am just waiting to get lost down there. I am anxious to start some real work.

Back at home, we are finally getting settled. We actually have a couch and a washer and dryer. I think we are ready for our baby girl to come... well, as ready as we can be i guess. It will be interesting to see how Carson reacts to the new addition to the family. For the first time in his life he won't be the center of attention. We finally got our health insurance figured out and Tiffani was able to go to the doctor. The baby could come any time! Yikes!
Also, since we have been in Wichita, we have been able to go to the Zoo and go camping. Camping isnt quite the same as in Idaho, but Carson and I still had fun. I bought Carson a Batman fishing pole, but we were unsuccessful during the campout. I actually missed Idaho for a little while there. Anywho, here are a few pictures we have taken... I also got around to taking the pictures off my camera of my last Idaho fishing trip.

Getting Settled
Well, we made it to Wichita! It has been a long couple of days, but we have survived. We were able to spend a few days in Utah and couple weeks in Michigan visiting the family. Carson loved being able to run around and play outside. I think it was a good break for all of us. We already miss being with the family! Carson keeps asking about Grandma's house and playing in the garden with Grandpa and playing with Erin. He sure hasn't been happy with just us these last couple days. Carson's prayer last night included a plea to get on an airplane and fly to grandma's house to play. Hopefully he realizes that we are going to stay here in Wichita.

Yeah, so when we got into our new apartment, we were surprised to find out that none of the rooms had lights in them. There were a couple smaller stage lights in the living room but they weren't enough to light up the room. So after a sad couple days in the dark we finally bought some lights. I've never seen Carson so excited about lights before. After a couple of days of unpacking we still have a number of things in boxes and there is a lot of "stuff" that needs to be looked through and given away or thrown. I (RYAN) start work on Friday, so i am excited to get settled and oriented to my new job. We like the area so far and it is nice to not have to drive a half an hour to get to a Target or a Kohl's. Anyways, these are just a few random thoughts this Wednesday morning and i'm sure there will be more updates to follow.

We're on our way!

Well we are officially moved out. We had to be out of our apartment by today so we have been working hard to get things packed up and cleaned. It was a very busy weekend and we are all exhausted (my mom came up to help us pack and clean-she basically cleaned our entire apartment! THANKS!) We packed up our stuff into some pods and they are being moved to Kansas-they should get there Monday so Ryan and his dad can unpack them and put it all into our new apartment. I wish I had some photos I could put up of our moving fun, but our camera is broken so we didn't get any photos.
A couple of my friends threw me a baby shower on Saturday, and it was SO much fun. We just invited a small group of friends over and I had such a great time. It was fun to just talk, laugh, play games, and eat. I am grateful for all the friends I have made in Rexburg and thank them for the good memories they left us with. I got some really cute baby stuff-I am SO SO excited to have a girl now. I was excited before-but after getting all these really cute things I am super excited!!
I am now at my parent's house with Carson for a week, and then we will fly out to Michigan and visit Ryan's parents for a few weeks before getting to Wichita. Ryan and his dad and currently fishing and camping-one last fishing trip. They are fishing all day today and tomorrow and then will come down to Utah on Friday and spend the weekend with family. They will then drive all the way to Wichita on Sunday, and get there in time to unpack everything Monday and Tuesday before they fly out to Michigan to be with the family. It should be a fun trip for them! We sure appreciate Ryan's dad for all his help.
We look forward to our new adventures, and are excited to see what Kansas will be like-I've never been there so I hope it is a good surprise!

Fishing Trip
Yesterday morning Spencer Buie and I went fishing. We went to a spot that we had been to a number of times, except this time we decided to head down stream a little bit. It ended up being the most successful fishing trip yet. With our powers combined, Spencer and I caught over 70 fish!! Seriously. About 2 hours into fishing Spencer was like, "My arm is getting tired from pulling in fish." So yeah, it was a good day. We ended up bringing a couple fish home. I took Carson over to see what we caught. I think he was a little freaked out at first but it wasn't long before he wanted to stick his hands in get all fishy. The fish were delicious by the way. I'm gonna miss fly fishing when i leave Idaho. Don't get me wrong, i am way excited to get out of Idaho... the fishing is what i will miss.

Batter Up!
Last week Tiffani and Carson went down to Utah to visit family. I decided to stay in Rexburg so that I could spend some quality time on the river. While Tiff and Carson were in Utah, they had an early easter celebration and Carson got his first baseball bat. I was afraid that he was too young and that he would have a difficult time hitting the ball. Boy was I wrong. It is almost too dangerous to play in the house... the video should explain. Also, here are a few pictures from Their exciting week in Utah.

We're Moving...Kansas here we come
Last week Ryan had a job interview in Wichita, Kansas with Spirit Aerosystems. He got a call back on Monday and was offered a job as a design engineer with the company. We are excited to start a new phase in our lives...a phase that includes having some money!
The thought of going somewhere new is a little bit scary, but I am ready for the challenge. We are excited to get out there and find a place to live, and check out the area. I have been wanting to move south for a long time, and get out of so much snow! We aren't sure when we will be headed to Kansas-if we will go before or after the baby is born, but it will be before July!
