Some inside photos

I can never get photos to load on here for some reason...which is why I didn't include any of Halli two posts down. Ryan somehow got them to load in the last post so I am going to try again. I'll try to do a couple posts over the next week with some photos of the inside of our house. There is a ton of work we want to do with it. It is a good house with LOTS of potential, but here is what it looks like for now. We'll start with the main floor where the living room, dining room, and kitchen are...please excuse the mess!

Dining Room-what you see when entering the front door...we're working on getting a table!
Living Room to the left when you walk in the front door
Kitchen (before I cleaned up) right next to dining area
Another shot...this time cleaner
And there you have the first round of photos of the inside of our lovely abode. Don't you just love the yellow walls. The entire house is painted the same color inside...it's so boring, and not my favorite color. We'll change it a room at a time!

It's Official

Halli is walking!  I can't even believe how big she is, and how fast she has learned to walk around.  She took her first steps on April 4th, and has been working so hard over the past month to perfect the skill.  While we were in Utah she walked back and forth from couch to couch so many times.  Since we've come back home though she has been walking circles around the couch.  It is so funny to watch her.  She likes to hold something while she is walking around-whatever she can find to pick up.  She will just walk around and around the couch though-I think just because she can.  She actually stood up on her own without using anything on the 29th of April so I figure she has been officially a walker for a couple weeks, but I haven't had time to post about it.  Just like her brother, she's a walker at 10 months! (As of Sunday though she is 11 months old...almost 1!!!!)
Other Halli news-she has 5 teeth as of this morning.  She got her 4th on Sunday, and her little canine came through during the night...which is probably why she woke up like 10 times.  She loves all the stairs in our house.  She is really good at going up, but not so good coming down yet.  She is wearing 18 month clothes now, but has been in them for a couple months because she is just so tall.  She had a major growth spurt from 7-9 months.  I think she'll stay in these clothes for a while though...at least I'm hoping.  It sure is expensive to maintain a wardrobe for her!  Lastly, I put her hair in little piggy tails for the first time yesterday.  They only stayed in a couple hours, but her hair is getting long enough to do things with so I'm really excited about that.  A couple more months and I should be able to do whatever with it!  Little short piggies are about all we can do for now though.

Month of April

We went for a long vacation to Utah last month. We left on the 8th and the kids and I will return home tomorrow. We have had tons of fun, kept super busy, and enjoyed being with family. Both my sister and Ryan's sister got married and we were able to attend all of the events associated with those! I don't have any photos from Jenny's wedding, but should be getting a cd with photos in the mail from my sister (hint hint Erin!) then I can post photos from that! Right now all I have is the photos of our time with my family.(Same old crazy Carson)

We got to be together with all of my family. Every member was able to come for Aubry's wedding-all 21 of us were happy to be together under one roof. It was such a crazy, but amazingly fun time! Carson and Halli had so much fun playing with their cousins for the week. The girls got to stay with the children while the husbands went home and back to work. So we spent the last week just having a blast...sorry you couldn't be with us Rhet, Adam, and Ryan-we missed you! Here are some photos from the activities of the month.(Carson doing his part to lay sod in the backyard)
(Halli doing her part to help-EATING the dirt!)
(Aubry and Michale finally married!)(Mara, Daisy, and Rachel at the reception)(Alexis and Rachel at Chuck E Cheese)(Colby and Jess at Chuck E Cheese)
We also got to take new family photos-our family, and my entire family. So once I get those I'll make another post with the cute new pics!
On another note...we bought a house! Ryan closed on Thursday and spent the weekend moving all of our stuff. I have the best husband in the world-he did all the work on this move while I was here in Utah on vacation. I just have to go home and do the fun part-organize everything. We will finally have room for all our stuff, and have a place to call our own!

Pay it Forward

Paying it Forward

Here is how it works-the 1st 3 people to leave a comment on this post will receive at some point during this year a handmade gift from me. If you don't live by me leave me your address on my email tiffdbabe@juno.com. What it will be and when it will arrive is a total surprise! The catch is that you must participate as well. Before you leave your comment here write up a pay it forward post on your blog to keep the fun going( or cut and paste..no one will judge you, cause that is what I did). Then come back and let me know you are going to play, and sit back and anticipate the arrival of your gift. Remember only the 1st 3 will qualify. Good Luck!!!

Carson's on a roll

This morning we were sitting at breakfast eating, and we started talking about the snow. It was snowing pretty hard, and Carson chimed in and said "It's so cumbersome." Ryan and I looked at Carson and said What? Where did you learn that word? He said "At school!" (Too bad he doesn't go to school.) Then I said, I don't think I even know what that means, and Carson says "It means heavy." I go check it out, and he is absolutely right-it does mean heavy.
After breakfast we got Carson all dressed and ready to go outside to play in the snow, and before he heads out the door he says "I'm so darling." (Oh if only he knew just how darling he really is!) Carson then goes outside to play with dad in the snow. While he is out there he turns to Ryan and says "Snow Sucks!" Right again my son!  Here are some photos of what Carson and Ryan made later today when they went out for a second time.  I think Carson may have changed his feelings toward snow.It was just a really funny day with Carson today. A really good, and funny day. Thanks for the laughs, my darling.
