Time flies by way too fast. The days are so long sometimes, but the weeks, months, and years just go so fast. It amazes me almost every day that I have 2 children, and one of them is 3 years old! How can I have a three year old...I swear I JUST graduated high school! Not the case though-it has been almost 7 years since I graduated. I officially just realized how old I really am! Three years ago though we brought this little guy home from the hospital.

He made us smile then, and he's still doing it today. He fills each day with
laughter and
DANCE. He brings a smile to my face when the day has been a hard one, and it seems like Halli hasn't stopped fussing. He makes me
giggle when I should be disciplining him. I
love how he snuggles with me after he wakes up in the morning, and afternoon naps. I love the way he can cheer Halli up-even when she is crying. I love how friendly and outgoing he is, and how he calls everyone a
friend. He teaches me things each day like how to enjoy the little things like ladybugs and ducks. He shows me how to shake my thang and not care what dad thinks of us cause we're having fun. I love that he tells me his best friends are mom, dad, and Halli. I
LOVE how much he loves me.

I could go on and on about how much I love him. I just wanted to say enjoy each moment. The good, and the bad. The happy, and sad. The hard, and the easy. I am trying to appreciate each day with Halli (even through the fussiness and crying) because I know that in a moment she will be 3 then 5 then 10. Live in the moment...live for today!

What a beautiful post. I agree with everything you said. So often I find myself stressing about EVERYTHING to where I miss all the wonderful things that are going on in my life. I really need to just stop, relax, and "enjoy the moment." In fact, I am going to put that on my fridge so I can be reminded each day.
Did you make Carson's airplane cake? SO COOL! An airplane theme party sounds FUN. I am going to save that idea. He looked so excited in the pics!
I did go all out for Parker's First birthday but not next year. lol. Ugh! I will def keep it simple. I didn't make the invites either, I bought them off Etsy. I'm lazy!
Also, I LOVE LOVE LOVE the family pic of you guys. You look so good!
Very sweet Tiffani. I am glad that you put this reminder in your blog. It is too easy to get caught up in everyday stuff, and forget how fast time truly flys. I am constantly trying to take time each day to just enjoy Elle; and all the joy, happiness, and silliness she brings into my life. Thanks again for the important reminder.
I do have to agree that time flies by so fast! Your little ones are too cute! Hope yall have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Years!
I loved this. You're such a wonderful mama, it's no wonder Carson is such a sweet boy! This reminds me of a couple conference talks, Finding Joy in the Journey (Monson) and Daughters of God (Ballard). You are such a great example to me. If I could be half the mom that you are, I think Avie might be OK. :) Already I am wondering where did the last six (almost) months go? A HALF A YEAR that Avie's already been in our lives! How did that happen?! It is so easy to get wrapped up in our day-to-days and forget about how special each little moment can be, but I am trying to treasure them as best I can because I know it will pass all too quickly. Thanks for this.
Thanks for the Christmas card. Your family picture is so good. I can't believe how fast Halli and Carson are growing up. You guys take care.
